The perfect murder. Think about it…. What or who comes to mind? Is there really something like the perfect murder? Or is it just a myth? A fantasy.

Murders happen everyday around the world. Some murders are obvious and easy to solve. Husband killing wife because of an affair. Women killing their husbands or boyfriends because of money etc. Some people are sloppy and dumb when committing murders. They clearly didn’t think them through. However there are those who think they can beat the system.

People who tried and failed to commit the perfect murder

• Chris Watts: In 2018 he had it all. A beautiful wife Shanaan, 2 little girls Bella and Celeste and ‘n a baby boy Nico on the way. Previously overweight he lost the excess weight, worked out which resulted in him becoming very attractive. Then he met a woman at work and fell head over heels in love and lust. He tried to keep both women happy and failed. Then he killed his wife and children in a horrific way and carried on with the affair thinking nobody would be able to pin the murders on him. Until the CCTV camera of a neighbor showed him carry the body of his dead wife to his truck with is children walking behind him. He is serving a life sentence.
• Ted Bundy a law student abducted, raped and murdered dozens of young women between 1974 and 1978. Ted evaded capture due to his knowledge with the law. He also didn’t fit the normal personality traits of killers. Until he was caught during a normal traffic stop when the Police officer noticed a kill kit (handcuffs, duct tape and more) in his care. Ted was charming and even handled his own defense in court. In the end however he was convicted and sentenced to death.
• Bryan Kohberger also a law student thought he committed the perfect crime when he stabbed four students Kaylee, Ethan, Xena and Maddie to death in their student home. The murders were committed in 2022. One problem though. He was sloppy and left the knife sheath of the murder weapon with his DNA behind. In 2025 were send to life without parole.
