Choose to be grateful

Choose to be grateful and be a happier person. Instead of focusing on everything you do not have, start focusing on what you do have.

Grateful.org: Gratitude helps us to better enjoy whatever is in the glass. But gratefulness can help us focus more intently on the radical fact of having a glass at all.

Mindful.org: One of the most powerful ways to rewire your brain for more joy and less stress is to focus on gratitude.

Wikipedia: Gratitude, thankfulness, or gratefulness is a feeling of appreciation (or similar positive response[1]) by a recipient of another’s kindness. This kindness can be gifts[2], help, favors, or another form of generosity to another person.

When we focus on what we don’t have, we cannot appreciate what we do have
