Quotes with meaning

Sometimes it is not the big things that make a difference in our lives but the small ones and sometimes it is just something small that someone says that makes a huge impact in your life. I’ve had a few of these quotes with meaning that I value above all.

I was 10 years old when I heard this during a story on the local radio station and I remember it. Growing up in a coastal town and still living close to the beach with fishermen , surfers and children playing really touched me.

This struck a cord when I listened to the song of the same name sang by Aaron Tippin. I have always stuck to my morals and values even when temptation and money tempt me.

This is one of Dr. Phil’s most famous sayings and there is an extended version of it where he says – The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior but you can create a new past and therefore a new past (and that gives hope for a new positive future)

This is so deep and something that certainly touched my heart and soul.

Live a life of gratitude

IF YOU LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE IN LIFE, YOU’LL ALWAYS HAVE MORE. OPRAH

When Oprah talked about Gratitude during her show, I thought how can you be grateful when your life is as miserable as mine but with time I learned the wisdom in her words and now I too live a life of Gratitude and my life is so much better now.

When I was in so much pain (emotionally) and I was hateful towards myself for wrong decisions and missed opportunities in the past I came across this quote and as a result it changed my attitude.

I was a teenager when I was angry about the rich people who gets everything for free and we must work hard for what we want and need in life and my Mum’s words brought me back to earth.

During my turmoil and battle with myself, I remembered this profound quote, looked it up on the Internet and printed it out and pasted it on my bedroom wall so I can remember myself to never give up, to force myself to achieve my goals, even if it means leaving my safe spot.

When I had a fallout with a friend of mine and our friendship came to an end, this quote meant so much to me.

These words are so true in my life. There are even a movie called Silence
