about LOVE

Growing up, my Mother and Grandmother emphasized the importance of showing love to people of all races and in all walks of life.
I grew up in a single parent household with a limited income and tight budget. However, while money wasn’t freely available, love was all around and so was happiness.
My Mother and Grandma made sure to teach us that we didn’t need to be rich to live a honorable life of service to the community.
We could barely walk when we started helping out in the community. My Grandma fed the needy street children. My Mum cleaned the elder’s houses and gardens. We helped out in orphanages and old age homes, the church and the poor.
We were taught to show love although we didn’t have money to give likewise hope and peace.

One thing I’ve learned is that every human and animal needs hope to cling to even if it seem hopeless. There hopelessness might have been because of circumstances.
If we loose hope, it is over and done, therefore no matter how dire things look, we should leave people with hope that things will get better.
Sometimes it may look like all your efforts comes to nothing but nothing keeps on forever. Things will get better – believe it.

Beauty contestants are always proclaiming that they will fight for world peace first of all.
While world peace are something all of us would like to see, peace are also needed between races and communities. Friends and family members certainly needs the same.
Some people hurt us intentionally and others by ignorance but above all, making peace doesn’t mean you have to invite them into your life. It just mean that we let go of the anger and the hurt.
When we live a life of Gratitude and we give Hope Peace and Love the world smiles back at us because we care.
