Finding comfort during COVID
Finding comfort during COVID even when you are alone is not so difficult. Everybody suffer during this very stressful COVID time. It is essential to soothe ourselves during this time of uncertainty, fear and helplessness.
March 2020
Nobody was really prepared for what was to come when the Coronavirus a.k.a COVID 19 came to visit the world. Many thought that the virus would be with us for 3 weeks and then we can go on with our lives. That was not to be.
The 1918 pandemic
When COVID 19 broke out and I watched the horror unfolding in China, I read up about the 1918 pandemic. It then dawned on me that this was not going to be over in 3 weeks. Although the medical world advanced during the past 100 years, it seem like the same protocols for this pandemic was the very same that were followed 100 years ago. For years the scientists and medics warned the world. The warnings fell on deaf ears.
